Treated my fiancé out to Tahoe this past weekend for a little getaway for her birthday. It was nice to just kick back and do a bunch of nothing. Sat in our hotel room majority of the time just laying up in bed, watching Dexter and playing Scrabble.

Had him sitting in the car for 7 hours with no clue where he was going. He wasn't too upset when we ended up at Disneyland. It was our second year back at Disneyland during the holiday season and it's got to be one of the best times to go in my opinion. It's cold, yes, but you just can't beat the holiday decorations and lights.

Night Sky Hunting
Hunting for the Milky Way can be a bit tricky. Considering the location from which direction it rises from constantly changes according to season. Not to mention, a pitch black sky is most crucial to spotting the location of the Milky Way, especially with a naked eye. The moon was definitely illuminating the skies way too much this night but I was still able to find the Milky Way but getting it to correctly expose was near impossible. Oh well, the star-lit skies is still a sight to die for.
